Module 17 – Running Safe Activities – 17th June 2024, 1900 – 2130
During this session we will help demystify risk assessments, help you understand when activity permits are required and what to look for when using external activity providers. We’ll talk about how to communicate with participants and parents before, during and after an activity and cover what to do if something doesn’t go according to plan.
You’ll learn how to plan and run exciting, safe and developmental activities for young people in your section.
The course will run via Microsoft Teams.
Module 38 – Skills for Residential Experiences – 26th/28th April 2024
The event is non uniform, please bring a packed lunch. Overnight accommodation is available with evening meal and breakfast, please confirm if you require overnight accommodation in your application.
