A person with Leadership Skills who likes having fun and would like to lead Wiltshire’s largest youth organisation, Scouting. We are looking for a new County Commissioner. If you want to help take this dynamic movement forward then this is the role for you. This requires a candidate with vision and enthusiasm.

At present we have 5300 youth members supported by 1,600 volunteer adults. We plan to achieve a 10% growth in the next four years.

Scouting makes a positive impact on our community, preparing young people to be active citizens. The County Commissioner will lead and move Wiltshire scouting forward as we expand, and ensure that we can make a difference to the young people and can offer scouting to every person in our County.

Nominations for the County Commissioner role must be in by 31st March 2015. Anyone interested or wanting further information about the Scout Association can visit  http://www.scouts.org.uk  or email South West Regional Commissioner, Hamish Stout at  regcomm.southwest@scouts.org.uk  for information.
